In theory, a contact request is just a matter of a click, but you can raise your game if you add a nice personal message. But what should you write? Here are some pointers for that very first message.
1.Say it with words
A contact request says something in itself, but when you receive one, do you really feel that it was meant for you and only you? A few personal words can make all the difference. The exception is when all you want to do is signal your interest – like engaging in eye contact – but would prefer to leave it to the other person to make the first move. There is always a high chance in that case that it will lead to nothing, so it is probably better to take the option of sending an invitation to a Fun Match [Icebreaker].
